Important Info

The date of our wedding is 17th June, 2017. As typically, there will be three parts to our special day. The church service, the reception and then the evening party. Below is a breakdown of each part with additional information.

The Wedding Service

The wedding will be at St Mary's Church, Usk. The service will start at 11:00am. Please can all guest arrive from 10:30am and be seated by 10:50am at the latest. For any earlier guests, there will be a brass band playing in the church for your enjoyment.

We strongly request that there is NO PHOTOGRAPHY allowed in the church. We have paid a great deal of money for a professional photographer to take photos, so we would like you all to enjoy the service with us and not have your head in a camera.

For us, the ceremony is the most special part of our day as it will be when we actually get married! Although disappointingly, we are unable to invite everyone to the wedding breakfast, we wanted to make it clear that although not obliged, all guests are welcome to attend the ceremony at the church.

NOTE: Parking can be extremely difficult directly around the Church but there is a large car park off Maryport Street. This is a ten minute walk from the Church and the postcode for this car park is NP15 1ED. Alternatively there is a very small car park in the square itself, but this is likely to be full. You will drive past this if you follow a Sat-Nav to the church.

The Reception

There will be a wedding breakfast for immediate family and close friends. As mentioned above, if we could have invited everyone, then we would've! This is due to start at 1:00pm. Guests are advised to make their way up to the Castle (not the castle pub) after the service, it is a fifteen minute walk, so we advise that you grab your cars and drive to the Castle. There is ample parking here and it should be clearly directed off the main road (Monmouth Road, A472). We have attached the details of the Castle below.

The Evening Reception

We can't wait for a big party on the evening of our wedding and are hoping that this will be a really special evening. There will be lots of live music, a DJ, a bar (CASH ONLY) and also a hog roast for all guests. The evening will commence st 7.30pm.
