Accommodation
For any guests who may be staying over night, we have attached a link to various hotels in Usk. We've also put a few of our own recommendations in there for you to look at. These hotels are all in Usk, but some guests may wish to look at hotels in Caerleon or Newport especially around the Coldra roundabout, this is only a ten minute drive from Usk. We can strongly recommend Roman Taxi's who are a Caerleon based firm who we use a lot. They are reasonable and also very punctual.
Also as an alternative, the Castle has a glamping site, which can be booked direct through their website. I have attached a link on here for that also, so any guests can take a look.​
This one's for the posh buggers amongst you.. It's a seven minute taxi ride outside of Usk, unfortunately it can't be accessed on foot. It is a beautiful setting and has pool and spa facilities.
Central Usk location, ten minutes walk to both venues.
Had we not chosen the Castle, we probably would've had the reception here. It's a nice setting, just over the main bridge in Usk. Fifteen minute walk to Church and Castle. Can strongly recommend the breakfasts!!! Our best friends Rachel (Maid of Honour) and Richard (Best Man) got hitched here! Swanky buggers!

Located in the the town square. Perfectly positioned between the Castle (venue) and Church. THIS IS THE PUB AND NOT THE WEDDING VENUE.
Fairly central, five minutes walk from Church and ten minutes from the Castle.
This is the taxi company we use when getting from Usk on drunken nights out (a huge amount of experience). Book them well in advance and they're dirt cheep. All taxis are Mercedes and they're very punctual.
